Blue Moon 31st March 2018
We’ve all heard the saying “Once in a Blue Moon”
We often say it when referring to a rare event of some kind, and it originated as a reference to when we have two Full Moons in one calendar month, the second one is know by astrologers as a ‘BLUE MOON’ and they don’t happen that often, hence the saying “Only once in a blue moon”.
Well, on March 31st we will experience an extra special blue moon because not only is it the second full moon in March, but it is also the second Blue Moon so far in 2018.
The blue moon on Saturday the 31st March will actually fall in Libra and as such will certainly produce some of the strongest lunar energy we have experienced for a long time. Of course, as with all things astrological, it will be up to the individual to make the best of this opportunity.
In traditional Gypsy folklore the number 3 has a great significance here, because not only does number 3 match up with March the third month it also represents ‘The Mind, the Body and the Spirit’, something the ‘New Age’ community think as something they thought of!
In astrology, the number 3 represents ‘Communication’ not only with those around us, but communication with our own inner self too. So take advantage of this Blue Moon and the extra energy it produces to get in touch with your own Mind, Body and Spirit and allow whatever is inside you preventing you moving forward to be released and feel free for the very first time in a long time.
We have all experienced that feeling of being in a rut, never reaching the things we dream of, putting up with things that don’t really sit right in our lives, but with this rare opportunity make some long sought after changes, take a long hard look into your hopes and dreams, see them as a genuine possibility, not just a pipe dream.
